TAMIU Dustdevil Athletics Gets New, Expanded Web Site

Texas A&M International University Dustdevil Athletics is putting a new face forward…its web site has been redesigned and relaunched.

Michael Blake, TAMIU sports information and promotions specialist, said the changes signal a new era in TAMIU Dustdevil Athletics.

“As our TAMIU Athletics Department continues to grow and gain notoriety, it was only fitting that our NCAA Division II Athletics website follow suit. GODUSTDEVILS. COM is a game-changing addition to the Laredo sports media scene and signals a new era for TAMIU Athletics,” Blake said.

He outlined some of the site’s changes.

“The major difference most will notice first is that we have moved from a vertical navigation to a horizontal one – with the sections of TAMIU Athletics listed across the top of every page. This provides faster navigation between different sports as well as a wider page to work with, meaning more room for great content, larger pictures and video,” he explained.

“GODUSTDEVILS.COM is fully integrated with Facebook and Twitter, and features a much more graphics- based interface. Live stats pages are more visually appealing and fully functioning Score Center offers play-by-play reports and up to date statistics. Live video will also be accompanied by a voice broadcast, allowing fans who aren’t able to make it out to campus a chance to gain a broader perspective of the action taking place on the court or on the field,” Blake continued.
