TAMIU-SBDC Offers Meet the Buyer Conference May 23

Congressman Henry Cuellar and the University of Texas-Pan American in conjunction with Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center, will host a “Meet the Buyer Conference” Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at the TAMIU Student Center upstairs rotunda.  The Conference is free to the public.

Participants will meet decision-makers of local, state, and federal entities and learn about opportunities to secure business with them.

Present will be representatives of the Department of Homeland Security,  General Services Administration, TX Commission on Environmental Quality, TAMIU, City of Laredo,  Veterans Administration, and  Small Business Administration Lending Programs

Presentations will conclude with the opportunity to address vendor questions and concerns and an opportunity to meet members of procurement staff from various agencies.
