The Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Autism Interventions Center will host a one-day Autism Conference on Friday, Nov. 16 at TAMIU’s Student Center.

The Family and Community Education for Autism (FACE) Conference will bring together a broad range of Autism Spectrum professionals who will offer informative presentations on current Autism research and areas of concern for Autism families, said Dr. Candace Baker, TAMIU associate professor and director of the Autism Interventions Center.

“We’ve taken special care to create a Conference that can provide vital information in a setting conducive to conversations and exploration with professionals dedicated to Autism awareness and understanding,” Dr. Baker explained.

The broad range of Conference topics underscore the broad range of Autism spectrum experiences, she said.

Among topics scheduled for presentation are:
