Attend Texas A&M International University’s Graduate Studies and Research Spring Open House Wednesday, April 3, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Student Center Ballroom and enter a chance to win a scholarship to pursue your graduate degree at the University this academic year.

The Spring Open House offers information on more than 25 graduate academic degrees TAMIU offers and financial aid opportunities available, including the Lamar Bruni Vergara Educational Fund.

The event, free and open to the public, will also provide information on six new online graduate programs at TAMIU. They include the MA in Language, Literature, and Translation; Master of Public Administration; MBA in International Business in English and Spanish; MS in Criminal Justice and the MS in Curriculum and Instruction.

Dr. Jeffrey Brown, dean of Graduate Studies and Research, said that for select programs, there are no GRE requirements.

Adults with a master’s degree or higher can earn an annual salary four times more than those with a diploma, he said.

“We encourage everyone who is considering applying for Graduate School for the Summer or Fall Semesters to attend the Open House and get informed about the possibilities that exist here at TAMIU,” Dr. Brown said.

Registration for all online graduate programs opens April 1 and applications will be accepted through August. Those applying after April 30  incur a late application fee of $25.
