TAMIU to Recognize Psychology Student Research

The Texas A&M International University College of Arts and Sciences announced the Wilhelm M. Wundt Undergraduate Student Research Award and the Carl Rogers Client-Centered Therapy Award will be presented to deserving TAMIU undergraduate and graduate psychology students.

Undergraduate students who have made an outstanding undergraduate contribution in basic/applied research and theory in the field of psychology will be eligible to receive the Wilhelm M. Wundt Undergraduate Student Research Award. Students will receive an award certificate and their academic transcripts will note this academic distinction.

The Carl Rogers Client-Centered Therapy Award will recognize TAMIU Master in Arts in Counseling Psychology students who have an outstanding mastery of theory-driven counseling/psychotherapy methodology in the field of counseling/clinical psychology. It will be awarded once a year during the College of Arts and Sciences cording ceremony. Students will receive an award certificate and their academic transcripts will note this academic distinction.

The Wilhelm M. Wundt Undergraduate Student Research Award honors the founder of modern psychology and the Carl Rogers Client-Centered Therapy Award honors the founder of Client-Centered Therapy.
