TAMIU Partners with Harris Direct for Alumni Directory

The Texas A&M International University Alumni Association has partnered with Virginia-based Harris Connect to produce a special Alumni Directory of all graduates of Texas A&M International University and its previous namesakes:  Texas A&I University at Laredo and Laredo State University.

Yelitza Howard, TAMIU director of Alumni Relations, said the publication offers a great way for graduates to keep in touch.

“Our constituents change emails, jobs and locations often, making it hard to keep up with them. We have therefore contracted with Harris Connect to update contact information for our constituents so that they can keep up-to-date on news, activities, and events. Harris will help produce a beautiful hardcover publication that will allow our graduates to reconnect with old friends as well as network professionally,” Howard explained.

Harris representatives will be reaching out to alums over the next few months, she noted.

“Harris specializes in alumni and membership publications and the data specifications involved with this type of project. Our alumni will be contacted by email, regular mail or by phone over the next few months to verify and update their contact and career information,” Howard said.
