Summer Plans for Kids Set? TAMIU Offers Summer Camps

Summer is on the way. Have you made plans to keep your child’s mind and body active this this summer?

You can do so with Texas A&M International University’s summer camps, offered through the Office of Continuing Education. Camps run from four days to eight weeks and are designed for ages 4-18.

Kimberly Martin Del Campo, director of Continuing Education, said registration is ongoing for fun and educational activities for kids.
 Programs include Basketball, Recreational Sports, Volleyball, AstroKids Summer Space Camp, Friday in Space astronomy camps, Kinder Camp, Language and Communication, Middle School Camp, Intensive College Math Program, Gear UP IV: parent Student Robotics Camps, STEM-MORE EEP Camps, and the Upward Bound Math and Science Program.

The Autism Center will also offer summer programs for various ages.

Costs vary per camp and new camp additions will be posted at tamiu.edu/camps

Camp forms can be found at tamiu.edu/camps and must be submitted at the Anthony J. and Georgia Pellegrino Hall 301.
