TAMIU Partners to Create Alumni Directory

Have you received a card asking you to be a part of a Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Alumni Directory?

That’s because TAMIU has partnered with Virginia-based Harris Connect to produce a special directory of all graduates of Texas A&M International University and its previous namesakes:  Texas A&I University at Laredo and Laredo State University.

TAMIU director of Alumni Relations Yelitza Howard said the professional publication offers a great way for graduates to keep in touch.

“Our alums change emails, jobs and locations often, making it hard to keep up with them. We’ve contracted with Harris Connect to update contact information for our alums so that they can keep up-to-date on news, activities, and events. Harris will help produce a beautiful hardcover publication that will allow our alums to easily reconnect with old friends as well as network professionally,” Howard explained.

Harris is currently contacting alums to participate. 

“Harris specializes in alumni and membership publications and the data specifications involved with this type of project. Our alumni will be contacted by email, regular mail or phone to verify and update their contact and career information.  That information is kept confidential and not shared with others, ” Howard said.
