TAMIU Fall Commencement Exercises Dec. 14

Over 650 candidates for graduation are scheduled to participate in Fall Commencement Exercises at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Saturday, Dec. 14in the Kinesiology-Convocation Building.

Students will receive undergraduate and graduate degrees in College-specific ceremonies.  The graduating class includes students from 13 countries.

Ceremonies for the College of Arts and Sciences are at 9 a.m.

 A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business ceremonies will be at 1 p.m.

College of Education and College of Nursing and Health Sciences’ ceremonies are scheduled at 4 p.m.

Commencement speaker for all three ceremonies will be James H. Pearl, attorney and co-trustee of the Lamar Bruni Vergara Trust.

The University has a dedicated site on Commencement with information continuously updated at www.tamiu.edu/commencement.  It includes a complete schedule of graduation events, including information about cap and gown, rings, invitations, pictures, graduation rehearsal, and more.

Registrar hours are Monday – Tuesday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
