High school students interested in pursuing a higher education will take over Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) during Preview Day, Saturday, Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Admission is free and open to prospective students and their parents.

Registration starts at 11 a.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts.

“Our Preview Day is designed to give prospective students a taste of what TAMIU has to offer. They will have the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt, obtain information on admission and financial aid, learn about Study Abroad opportunities and more,” said Scheiby Fisher, director, Office of Recruitment and School Relations.

“We are expecting approximately 250 students from the San Antonio, Houston, Corpus Christi, and Rio Grande Valley area,” added Fisher.

During the daylong event, students will attend sessions on financial aid, becoming a Dustdevil, and begin the “Discovery.” Also on the agenda are a campus tour, mock class, pictures with Dusty and other information sessions.

The next TAMIU Preview day is scheduled for Saturday, March 22.
