Texas A&M International University will host the 94th Annual Meeting of the Texas Section of the Mathematical Association of America Thursday, April 3 through Saturday, April 5.

Mathematicians from around the state, including university and college students, will have the opportunity to attend sessions on papers presented by undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty. Students will also compete in a Calculus Bowl and other games.

The Texas Section has a long tradition of mathematical mentorship and fellowship in the state of Texas and the wider mathematical community. They promote the mathematical sciences, especially at the collegiate level within the state.

South Texas Mathematics Consortium (STMC) is the professional organization formed by universities and colleges in the South Texas region. It serves as a conference outlet for the scholarly exchange among its members and guests. Member institutions host meetings annually.
