The Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU-SBDC) will host a seminar for small businesses interested in exporting products and service overseas Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Laredo Public Library, 1120 E. Calton Road.

Topics include: The Export Business Planner, SBA Export Loan Programs and Export Process and Global Shipping.

According to the SBDC, many small businesses think they are too small to compete in the world market. This is not the case, as exporting is now open to any company regardless of size. At the seminar, international trade professionals will discuss the essentials to begin exporting or expand exports to compete, win and grow in the international marketplace.

The seminar is being hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), San Antonio District Office and TAMIU-SBDC, in collaboration with the International Trade Center at the University of Texas-San Antonio and FedEx.
