TAMIU Summer Commencement Friday

Texas A&M International University will hold its Summer Commencement Exercises Friday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Kinesiology/Convocation Building.

Over 160 candidates for graduation are expected to participate in a combined ceremony for undergraduate and graduate students from the College of Arts and Sciences, the A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business, College of Education, and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

TAMIU President Ray Keck will provide the Commencement address.

This is the first summer time in 12 years that TAMIU is hosting a Summer Commencement.  It serves to accommodate an increase in the amount of students graduating this time of the year.
