With the help of Laredo Phil composer-in-residence, Dr. Colin Campbell, and the world premiere of his Trilogy for Organ and Orchestra, the Laredo Phil will certainly confirm its selection as recipient of the 2014 ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming of Contemporary Music by the League of American Orchestras," Townsend said.

This concert will be held at 3 p.m. in the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine  Arts Center theater at Laredo Community College.  It will feature Nancy Galbraith’s "Euphonic Blues," filled with lush lyrical sounds, and bold rhythms, and the perfect counterpart to Mahler's Fourth Symphony.
