TAMIU Ranks as 9th Most Affordable Online College in Texas

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) has been ranked the State’s 9th Most Affordable Online College by Affordable Colleges Online  (AC Online) in its recently published research of not-for-profit Texas universities and colleges that offer online programs.

The ranking included 53 Texas Colleges or Universities and noted TAMIU’s online options include a Master's of Science in Criminal Justice, a Master's of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, and an MBA. Also offered is a popular undergraduate RN-to-BSN degree.

AC Online compiled a list of the best programs, indexed from lowest tuition to highest, that offer excellent higher education and value.

AC Online notes that more than 450 accredited post-secondary institutions operate in Texas, serving an estimated 2.2 million college students in 2013.

Affordable Colleges Online began in 2011 and is dedicated to sharing strategies and information about pursuing affordable higher education.  It provides free community resources and tools spanning topics such as financial-aid and college savings strategies, affordability and scorecard rankings, and opportunities for Veterans and people with disabilities, and online learning resources.

Registration for the Spring Semester 2015 is now underway at TAMIU.  Classes begin Jan. 20, 2014.
