Ed Jobs Focus of TAMIU School District Career Fair Nov. 13

Employment opportunities at school districts will be the focus of the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Office of Career Services’ School District Career Fair Thursday, Nov. 13 from 1-4 p.m. in the Student Center Rotunda.

The Fair is free and open to the public.

Celina Maniece, TAMIU director of employer relations, said local and state school districts at the Fair would promote employment in the field of education among TAMIU students, alumni and Laredo community.

“All those interested in working for a school district will have the opportunity to apply for various positions not limited to teaching,” she said.

Those interested in applying for jobs at school districts should bring a copy of their resume and wear business professional attire, Maniece said.

Some school districts will provide increased salary compensation for being bilingual, Maniece added.

Maniece said registration is still available for employers interested in participating.
