Texas A&M International University is really living up to its name with a new branding program that clearly identifies TAMIU as “The International U.”

TAMIU has launched a new branding program that strategically elevates and defines its international identity, nature and mission with a new logo and icon reflecting this.

“The brand’s unifying theme is a proud evocation of our mission, role and scope.  Our campus is international and the education we provide is global.  Our 7,500+ students come from 30+ countries and our gifted faculty is likewise drawn from around the world. Our new marks merge TAMIU’s traditional colors with a flourish of gold. ‘The International U’ reinforces how TAMIU is perceived and regarded and proclaims so with a strong, visual confidence,” explained TAMIU’s director of Public Relations, Marketing and Information Services (PRMIS), Steve Harmon.

The brand was created in a partnership with the MDR Agency of Corpus Christi and PRMIS.

The brand has already been incorporated in the University’s primary communication points, including its web site and social media, and is already deployed in advertising and recruiting collateral and visuals.

The Spring Semester at TAMIU begins Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015.
