TAMIU Sets ‘Date Night Under the Stars’ Saturday



This Saturday, March 28, at 7 p.m. have a date with a friend or a special someone at Texas A&M International University’s Lamar Bruni Vergara Science Center.

The Planetarium presents ‘Date Night Under the Stars,’ an event open to the public that includes a live show on romantic legends of constellations, light appetizers, refreshments and a rose per couple.

The event is $16 per person or $25 per couple.

“We are presenting ‘Date Night Under the Stars’ after our Planetarium had a successful event in February, when we offered a show with a romantic theme for Valentine’s Day,” said Peter Davis, Planetarium director, “The event is open to the community and we invite everyone to come and contemplate the stars with us.”

The show will also include a “Best of Led Zeppelin” 3-D light presentation for rock fans, Davis said.
