Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Office of Public Relations, Marketing and Information Services (PRMIS) has scored again with 11 new awards recognizing achievement in educational advertising and marketing.

The Office received seven awards from the National 30th Annual Educational Advertising Awards (EAA), including Gold Awards for Imprinted Materials and TV Series; a Silver Award for Total Integrated Campaign; Bronze Award for Magazine Single Ad and Merit Awards for Logo, Outdoor Billboard and Annual Report.

The Awards are sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report and considered the country’s largest educational advertising awards competition. Over 2,000 entries were received from 1000+ colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.

EAA Judges were a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and Higher Education Marketing Report’s editorial board.

TAMIU also received four American Advertising Awards (known as ADDYs) from the American Advertising Federation, including Gold for Consumer or Trade Publication Campaign – Four Color; Silver for Television Campaign Regional/National and Bronze for Out of Home Campaign and Integrated Campaign Regional/National.

TAMIU’s Steve Harmon, PRMIS director, said his team is honored to receive the awards and recognition.

“Our team has tremendous commitment and passion for telling the University story in creative and meaningful ways. We also collaborate closely with MDR Agency to amplify our outreach. We feel truly blessed to be recognized by these two award competitions,” Harmon said.

Just last month, AVA Digital Awards named TAMIU the recipient of three awards in its 2015 International Awards Competition, bringing its total awards to date to 14.
