School District Career Fair @ TAMIU April 23

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) will present the TAMIU 2015 School Districts Career Fair Thursday, April 23.

The bi-annual event, taking place at the Student Center Rotunda from 1-4 p.m., is open to the public.

Career Fair participants will have access to representatives from over 30 local and state school districts offering current employment opportunities.

Ericka Navarro, TAMIU director of employer relations, said the Career Fair would provide participants plenty of opportunities to network with employers and apply for various positions not necessarily related to teaching.

“This is a great opportunity for everyone to start networking and begin building relationships for potential employment opportunities now and in the future,” Navarro said.

Those interested in applying for jobs at school districts should bring a copy of their resume and wear professional attire, she said.
