Summer Brings Fun, Learning at TAMIU Summer Camps

Summer is here and kids’ activities abound at Texas A&M International University’s  (TAMIU) Summer Camps.

Click on the TAMIU Office of Continuing Education website,  www.tamiu.edu/college4kids  to find healthy, educational and fun camps for children including Boys Basketball, Band Leadership, Dustdevil’s Volleyball, Elementary School Camp, Middle School Camp, Middle School Percussion Camp, Summer Recreational Sports, Super SAT, STEM-MORE Education and Enrichment, TAMIU Youth Soccer, Softball clinics, and Women’s Basketball.

Camps are offered at various dates and times starting June 8 and ending Aug. 7.

TAMIU Summer Camps give children the opportunity to exercise, learn a new sport, explore their imagination and make new friends, said Kimberly Martin Del Campo, TAMIU director of Continuing Education.

“Summer camp is a place for kids to make new friends, share new experiences, and grow,” Martin Del Campo said, “Kids come back to TAMIU year after year and become part of our family.”

Parents can easily register and pay online for camps by visiting the Continuing Education website, Martin Del Campo explained.

Summer University office hours are 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Friday.
