LTGI’s ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’ Continues Oct. 8 - 11

Anne Frank Play @ TAMIU

Laredo Theater Guild International (LTGI), in cooperation with Texas A&M International University, presents The Diary of Anne Frank, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning historical Holocaust drama based on the groundbreaking book “The Diary of a Young Girl” by Anne Frank.

Final Show dates are:

• October 8-10 at 8 p.m.

• October 11 at 3 p.m.

All shows take place at TAMIU’s Center for Fine and Performing Arts Theater, 5201 University Boulevard.

Regular Admission is $15. Discounted admission for Children, Seniors or Student ID holders is $10.

Marco González directs the drama, which opens the LTGI’s seventh season.

It chronicles the inspirational, true story of eight individuals in Amsterdam who hid in a concealed attic from the Nazis for two years during World War II, and a young girl’s honest account of her rapidly changing life and the horror in which she lived.

This intimate family drama, as told through Anne’s eyes, captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence -- their fear, their hope, their laughter and their grief.
