The event will also be livestreamed on the University’s YouTube Channel at   A remote viewing site will also be available in the Student Center Rotunda.

While Clinton has been a frequent visitor to Laredo over the years, this will be his first visit to TAMIU.

Interestingly, Webb County was the first Texas County to endorse Clinton in the race leading up to his election as the nation’s 42nd President in 1992.  His first term was from 1993-1997.  He was re-elected for a second term, 1997-2001.

Since leaving the presidency, Clinton has continued to be active in public life, primarily through the work of his William J. Clinton Foundation.

He is currently traversing the country in support of wife Hillary Clinton’s campaign for President.
