‘Romance Under the Stars’ This Weekend at TAMIU

This Valentine’s Day weekend, treat yourself or that special someone in your life to the second-ever planetarium show in Laredo with a romantic theme, complete with refreshments, appetizers, a box chocolates, a rose and a night of romantic legends about constellations.

“Romance Under the Stars” is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 13 at 5 and 7 p.m. in the Texas A&M International University Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium.

It is open to the public and only $25 per person or $45 per couple. Those attending must be 21 or older and have a valid ID.

The shows will feature a presentation about the romantic love stories in Greek mythology and the constellations associated with mythical characters. Romantic music under the stars will follow.

This is the second year the Planetarium presents “Romance Under the Stars.”
