Wells Fargo Offers $15,000 Gift Supporting TAMIU

Wells Fargo of Laredo has provided gifts to Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) targeting enhanced awareness of the importance of higher education.

Wells Fargo provided a generous gift of $10,000 to help sponsor the University's annual outreach event, Discover TAMIU, a free family-friendly event with 90 interactive booths focused on learning at “The International U” attended by over 3,000 visitors Saturday, March 19.

Wells Fargo also provided a gift of $5,000 in support of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Alliance, an initiative lead by Congressman Henry Cuellar, '82, aimed at encouraging middle and high school students to pursue STEM studies. Wells Fargo representatives shared important information to participants on financial literacy, emphasizing the importance of saving for their futures and education.
