TAMIU Community Invited to University College Fair Sept. 22

All Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) students, faculty and staff members are invited to the University College Fair Thursday, Sept. 22 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Student Center Patio and Rotunda.

Admission is free.

The University College Fair is an opportunity to learn what University College has to offer. They will also have fun and exciting games, crafts, books, popcorn, and information about their services and distribute more than 200 books to engage the campus on reading and developing literacy skills.

The University College mission is to provide strong academic support for each student to have a successful college experience.

University College includes the Writing Center, University Learning Center, Advising and Mentoring Center, Service-Learning Center, Testing Center, and TRiO Student Support Services. These centers and services create an academically focused, student-centered environment to develop students’ maximum potential.

University College also welcomes the freshman class, engaging them with meaningful academic experiences through the “Reading the Globe” Program and Signature Courses.

University College grants the Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Students designed for students who have more than one academic interest.
