TAMIU Employees Celebrate Enrichment Day Thursday

Offices will be open, but services reduced.

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) full time employees will spend Thursday, May 25 at the University’s TAMIU Enrichment Day from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.

University offices and the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will be open, but staff and services will be greatly reduced.

The annual event provides professional development sessions to all University employees in a dedicated and relaxed atmosphere.

The University hosts guest speakers and recognizes employees for Employee Service Awards, Outstanding Employee Awards, degree completion, State employee charitable contributions and support provided to the on-campus giving campaign. Participants in the University’s Leadership Experience Program and the TAMIU Employee Wellness Program are also recognized.

Keynote speaker for the event is Paul Vitale, one of America’s most sought-out speakers and trainers. He uses his unique combination of excitement, energy and experience to encourage and motivate others. He is a native of Arkansas and earned his degree in mass communications and journalism from the University of Central Arkansas.

The TAMIU Office of Human Resources coordinates the yearly event.
