Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Dustdevil student-athletes will soon be getting their competitive game on with daily workouts as the Fall Semester nears.

“We are very excited about the upcoming year. Our coaches and staff have been working hard all summer to make the 2017-18 year a great one for TAMIU. We are excited to get the student back on campus and fill the seats with rowdy Dustdevils all year long!” said Griz Zimmermann, TAMIU Athletic Director.

TAMIU is an NCAA Division II institution offering 11 varsity sports and Cheerleading and Dance programs. Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, and Men’s and Women’s Golf all compete this Fall. Men’s and Women’s Basketball will compete in the Heartland Conference, home to nine institutions in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. It was founded in 1999 and offers 13 sports to its members.
