TAMIU’s ‘F.A.B.” Authors Recognized at Public Reception Tuesday, Oct. 10

Dr. Jerry Thompson is a big part of the Faculty Authored Book Collection here.  

The Texas A&M International University Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will hold a “Faculty Author Book Recognition Event” Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the Helen Richter Watson Gallery in the Killam Library. 

This event is free and open to the public.

The broad span of titles and research by faculty authors is impressive, said Douglas Ferrier, Killam Library Director. 

“Our F.A.B., Faculty-Authored Book Collection, is part of our Special Collections and Archives Library, and is quite sizable, with multiple books by some authors. It impressively attests to a broad range of research interests and specialties.  The knowledge and research legacy our faculty has created can easily inspire, inform and entertain…and all are featured in our Collection and on our shelves for reading and checkout.  We’re excited to be able to provide this special recognition for their remarkable gifts of writing,” Ferrier said. 

Faculty authors who will be recognized published works from 2010-2017.
