A comprehensive look at the past year in the life of Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is now available in the digital edition of the 2017 Annual Report.

The University has augmented its award-winning print edition of the Report with a digital publication since 2012.  While online, it maintains the look and feel of a conventional physical magazine, complete with pages that “flip.” Some features include additional content links.

The 2017 Annual Report is themed “They Go Beyond,” and highlights the past year in student, faculty and community accomplishments as TAMIU builds legacies, cultivates leadership, inspires innovation and forges partnerships.

TAMIU president Dr. Pablo Arenaz said the Report underscores what TAMIU does daily.

“The Report shows how our students, faculty and staff Go Beyond.  It offers concrete examples of how we achieve, challenge, explore, lead, serve and, most importantly, give back. I especially like the digital edition, because it can be viewed on various devices and is embedded with additional rich content,” Dr. Arenaz said.

For example, readers will learn about TAMIU’s national accolades accorded this year, faculty research accomplishments, important community outreach efforts, pivotal accreditation successes and dynamic program growth, alumni and faculty authors and their works, and how 1,083 student volunteers contributed over 49,000 service hours to the community.

The 34-page Report also profiles the University’s student body and other key performance measures, and recognizes donors and partners that help fuel building, research and scholarship. It also includes links to expanded news features, video and photo galleries and can be easily printed, emailed or embedded in social media for sharing.
