Deadline for TAMIU Canseco School of Nursing Site Review Nears

Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) College of Nursing and Health Sciences’ Dr. F. M. Canseco School of Nursing is encouraging participation by written comments for the coming Site Review for continuing accreditation of its Baccalaureate Nursing Program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Canseco School of Nursing Dean, Dr. Glenda Walker, said public insight is both appreciated and encouraged.

“This provides the public with a chance to share written comments on our program, and we encourage their feedback and insight,” Dr. Walker said.

In addition to its Baccalaureate Nursing Program, the Canseco School offers a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program (MSN-FNP) and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration (MSN-ADM) focused on the critical role of Nursing in Health Care Management.

The Canseco School has been nationally ranked as one of the best in the Central US by Nurse Journal ORG.
