Laredo Phil’s 40th Season Begins Sunday, Tickets Available

The Laredo Philharmonic is poised to begin its historic 40th Season this Sunday and tickets are now available.

The 40th Season will feature four concerts. Single concert tickets are on sale for $25 each, and season tickets can be purchased for $80. Season tickets include admission to all four concerts. 

The season begins with a concert Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Fine & Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. This concert will feature a Chaplin Symphony with the movie “Bright Lights.”

“Bringing the highest level of music-making to Laredo for the past 40 years is something that we are very proud of, and we have magnificent and innovative programs planned for this celebratory season,” said Brendan Townsend, musical director for the Laredo Philharmonic and TAMIU assistant professor.

Michael Gonzalez, LP Board member, concurred. 

“For 40 years, the Laredo Philharmonic has consistently provided a high-quality musical experience for Laredo and the surrounding areas. This season looks to continue that legacy. Additionally, the Laredo Phil has always been a great entertainment value for the citizens of Laredo. I encourage the community to come out and enjoy this unique experience,” Gonzalez said.

Community members are encouraged to reserve their tickets as soon as is possible. Theycan be purchased online at www.laredophil.com, or via the Facebook page Laredo Philharmonic.
