Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) has been named as one of the Top 100 national test centers administering the most CLEP exams in the United States.

TAMIU was the only regional institution in the Texas A&M University System to obtain this designation. This is the second year in a row that the University receives this commendation.

Currently, the College Level Examination Program or CLEP offers 34 exams that cover intro-level college course material. Upon passing the exam, up to three or more college credit hours can be earned. These credits can be applied at more than 2,900 colleges and universities across the country.

CLEP testing centers maintain the integrity of the overall testing process in a professional manner, explained College Board's website.

Additionally, the University's Testing Center adheres to the National College Testing Association standards of guidelines and testing personnel, as well as members of the Consortium of College Testing Centers.
