TAMIU Posts Holiday Closure Schedule
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) has announced its Thanksgiving holiday schedule.
University classes continue Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 25 and 26. University offices and the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will be open through noon Wednesday, Nov. 27. Offices and the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will close thereafter, Thursday, Friday and Saturday in a State-authorized holiday observance.
The Kinesiology, Wellness and Recreation Center will be closed Wednesday noon through Sunday, Dec. 1 and reopen Monday, Dec. 2. The Killam Library will be open for its regular schedule Sunday from 12 noon to midnight. Also, the University Learning Center will hold its regular schedule Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
University offices reopen and classes resume Monday, Dec. 2 at 8 a.m. In the event of an emergency, contact University Police at 956.326.2100.
On Monday, Dec. 2, the University will host its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m. on the front lawn of the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library with a special visit by Santa Claus. A variety of activities are planned for children of all ages at the free, family-friendly event. The event is part of the University’s yearlong 50th Anniversary Celebration.
