TAMIU Announces Early Safety Release Aug. 22
With an abundance of caution and concern about the impact of projected major rainfall in the Laredo area this afternoon, Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) offices will observe an Early Safety Release so that employees may return home.
The noon lunch hour will be observed, but all offices will close at 1 p.m. today, Aug. 22, 2023.
Local school districts will also be dismissing early and parents of students are being notified.
