TAMIU Students Honored for On-Time Degree Completion

TAMIU Student Success Wall

A total of 1,693 students will be recognized for their on-time degree completion during Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Student Success Wall ceremony Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 3 p.m. on the second floor of the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center.

This is the 12th year TAMIU’s University College (UC) recognizes students on the 18-foot permanent display, “Four Years, Many Futures.” The display recognizes students’ accomplishments and commitment in maintaining a four-year track as a sophomore, junior or senior at TAMIU. It also serves as a visual endorsement of students’ progress.

This year, the names of 412 sophomores, 577 juniors and 704 seniors were added to the permanent display.

The ceremony celebrates students graduating on-time in four years since they started at TAMIU as first-year students.

UC aims to empower students to become competent, resilient, and self-determined life-long learners. Utilizing collaborative academic and support programs, including its Academic Center for Excellence, which offers tutoring and support services for all enrolled students, a robust First-Year Experience Program, the University’s Reading the Globe initiative and a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.
