Discover TAMIU 2026 Invites Community to Explore, Create and Imagine the Future
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) invites the community to its annual Discover TAMIU open house on Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the University campus at 5201 University Boulevard.
Now in its 12th year, this free, family-friendly event transforms the campus into a vibrant showcase of learning, creativity and Dustdevil spirit. Prospective students, parents, and community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and explore everything TAMIU has to offer.
Admission is free and open to the public. Complimentary parking will be available on campus.
Throughout the day, participants can engage in hands-on academic demonstrations, experience interactive exhibits across disciplines, meet faculty and current students, and learn more about admissions, financial aid and student life, said Scheiby Gonzalez Fisher, TAMIU associate vice president for Enrollment Management.
"From science and technology experiences to artistic expression and spirited performances, Discover TAMIU offers an exciting introduction to college life in an engaging and welcoming environment," Gonzalez Fisher said.
Discover TAMIU follows six distinct, segmented ‘Pathways’ for attendees to explore, including dedicated activities such as Artistic Avenue, Business Boulevard, Friends of TAMIU, the International U, Scientific Journey, and Spirited Speedway.
The outreach effort is designed to help the community “discover” their hometown University and its broad range of degree programs, resources, and services available.
More than an open house, Discover TAMIU is an invitation to imagine the future. For many students and families, it represents the first step toward pursuing higher education and joining a supportive university community committed to excellence, Fisher said.
