Texas A&M International University seeks a Director of Athletics responsible for the daily operation and oversight of the University’s 11-team intercollegiate athletic program, as well as management of all aspects of the Dustdevil Athletics Department. The TAMIU Dustdevils are a proud member of the Lone Star Conference.

Tuesday, October 21	Committee is named and website launched.
Late October - Late December	Recruitment period.
Monday, January 5	Applications opened to the Search Committee for review.
Friday, January 9	Best consideration deadline for applications. Position remains open until filled.
Friday, January 16 (1 - 4 p.m)	Search Committee meets to select semifinalists for initial interviews.
Monday and Tuesday, January 26 and 27	Search Committee interviews semi-finalists via Teams.
January 28 - February 6	Due diligence, referencing, and background checks begin.
Week of February 9	Finalist invitations are issued.
Week of February 16	Finalist interviews conducted.
Week of March 2	Appointment is announced.
