ENGL 4322
Creative Writing Workshop.
Three semester hours. (FL-Odd)
This advanced creative writing course is conducted as a writing workshop and is designed to deepen and refine a student's skills in a specified genre. Genres will vary from semester to semester but will regularly include poetry, fiction, and screenwriting. Drama, children's literature, and non-fiction genres, such as autobiography, will occasionally be offered. May be repeated for credit up to four times, but no genre may be repeated more than twice. May be taken for graduate credit if graduate student receives permission of the instructor and the chair of the department. Prerequisite: ENGL 2307 or SPAN 2307 or consent of the instructor.
