ENGL 4323
Early Twentieth Century American Literature.
Three semester hours. (FL-Even)
A study of American literature from the end of World War I to the end of World War II. Readings will include such writers as Stein, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Faulkner, Pound, Eliot, Barnes, Cather, Wharton, Hughes, O'Neill, Yezierska, Steinbeck, Hurston, and Dos Passos. Prerequisite: Three hours sophomore literature or consent of instructor. May be taken for graduate credit.
