SOCW 3302
Social Work Statistics
Three semester hours.
This course is an introduction to the statistics commonly used in social work research. It includes a computer lab component. The experiential component allows for the use of research study data, the application of computer based statistical tests for the analysis of findings and for drawing inferences when applicable. Prerequisite: Completion of the first college level math course. MATH 1342 or PSYC 2317 may be substituted for this course. May be taken concurrently with SOCW 2361. May also be taken concurrently with SOCW 3303 with permission from the advisor and instructor.
