BIOL 1411 (BIOL 1411)
General Botany.
Three semester hours.
This course is designed to give the students a broad introduction to botany. Emphasis will be on characteristics of the plant kingdom, but the relevant features of algae and fungi will also be discussed. General topics will include plant structure, physiology and development, evolution and ecology. Lecture/laboratory. May be taken by non-science majors with permission of instructor. Lab fee: $30.
