SOCW 4616
Social Work Practicum II.
Six semester hours.
The field practicum provides supervised experience in a social service agency in which students apply social work knowledge, skills, values, and ethics. Students will work a minimum of sixteen hours per week throughout the semester and must accomplish a minimum of 225 hours of agency experience. Evaluation of performance in this course is on CR/NC basis. Prerequisite: Must have overall GPA of 2.5. Must have completed all courses for the BSW degree with the exception of one elective. Must be taken concurrently with SOCW 4310 and SOCW 4612. Admission to the major.
