Federal, State and Foundation Search Engines

InfoEd (SPIN/GENIUS/SMARTS) - a subscription software that passively or actively searches in Federal, State and Foundation funding opportunities for keywords that user selects or can set up a passive search for keywords and have results emailed daily to user.  Contact grants@tamiu.edu to get signed up for this service.

Texas Register- current issue posted every Friday - search for "request for proposal" or "request for statement" to search older copies of Texas Register, click on "search Texas Register", select non-rule and search for "request for proposal" or "request for statements"

General foundation only search engines

All private and corporate foundations MUST be run past the Office of Institutional Advancement, either the Director of Development or the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations, before they can be applied to. If the foundation funds research and student scholarships, TAMIU applies for scholarships first. The Office of Institutional Advancement can be reached at 956-326-4483.
