| This course examines the impact of tariffs, quotas, and subsidies on the furtherance of national economic objectives; basic economic theory and models for determining the impact of tariffs, quotas, and subsidies on the furtherance of national economic objectives; exchange rate policies, balance f payments; the role of important international trade agreements, i.e., the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), the European Union (EWU), and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Prerequisites: ECO 2301 and ECO 2302. |
