| Sedimentology and Stratigraphy |
| Four semester hours. |
| Origin of sediments and sedimentary rocks; transport, deposition, and depositional environments for sediments; field and laboratory studies in description and interpretation of sedimentary rocks; principles of stratigraphy; geologic time and correlation; and sequence stratigraphy.
