SOCW 2361
Introduction to Social Work.
Three semester hours.
This course is an introduction to the profession, its historical development, its scope and roles within the social welfare system, and its values and fields of practice. Includes 40 contact hours of volunteer experience. (Formerly SOCW 1301). This course may be taken by non majors to meet the core curriculum social and behavioral science requirement.
