SOCW 4303
Social Work Practice with Individuals and Families.
Three semester hours.
This course focuses on the use of the generalist model of social work practice with individuals and families. Individual, family and cultural strengths are emphasized, as are problem solving and empowerment strategies, and alternative solutions to social problems. This course has a substantial writing component. Includes an experiential component. Prerequisites: SOCW 2361, SOCW 3301, SOCW 3302, SOCW 3304, SOCW 3305, SOCW 3306 and SOCW 3307. Admission to the major.
