SPAN 4300
Contemporary Spanish American Society in Literature.
Three semester hours.
This course examines the relationship between art and the political, historical, and social realities of the Spanish American society through fiction written by some of its most distinguished writers such as Garc¡a M rquez, Allende, Vargas Llosa, Borges, Castellanos, Octavio Paz, Carlos Fuentes, etc. Prerequisite: SPAN 2320 and either SPAN 3323 or SPAN 3326.
