| Health Issues of Diverse Populations. |
| Three semester hours. |
| This course addresses factors that influence the excess morbidity and mortality of minority populations. Issues that will be addressed include an understanding of a culture's influence on the adaptation of health practices, as well as health indicators for diverse populations in Texas. Prerequisites: Admission to the College of Education and EDHW 3340. (May be taken concurrently with EDHW 3340.) |
